Roger Day “Rocky” DeLancey, 75, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his home. He was born on June 27, 1950, in Marietta, Ohio, son of Ray and Martha Day DeLancey. After attending Fort Frye High School, he served in the US Marines. He was born December 22, 1947, in Orrville, Ohio, to Blaine Smarr and Lenora Spotloe Smarr Kines. Michael had worked at Berdines Automotive for 19 years, before becoming in charge of maintenance for St. Mary Catholic School, where he retired after 25 years of service. Jon Wayne Beardmore, 67, passed away at the home of his daughter in Sellers, SC, on December 29, 2025. He was born in Marietta, Ohio, on January 3, 1958, to William David Beardmore and Mary Ann Beardmore Smith. He is survived by his two daughters, Hiliary Beardmore (fiancé, Caleb Hunt) and Tylor Beardmore Smith, six grandchildren, siblings Micheline (David) Westfall, Michael (Carol) Beardmore, Colene (Gary) Spindler and Scott (Carol) Beardmore. Jon was predeceased by his parents and sister, Kristy Beardmore. A private service will be held at a later date.
