January 19, 1947 - January 31, 2026 Teresa was born to Thelma and Francis Edgar Simpson in Marietta, Ohio. She graduated from Warren High School, Class of 1964. Teresa was a nurse’s aide and continued to care for elderly and children after leaving her profession. She will be remember for her kindness and love for everyone. She loved fishing and made the best fried bluegill and catfish. She was a proud member of Harbor Site Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Ellen L. Triplett, 72, Caldwell, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East St., in Caldwell where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor George Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery.

Michael Blaine Smarr, 78, of Marietta, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born December 22, 1947, in Orrville, Ohio, to Blaine Smarr and Lenora Spotloe Smarr Kines. Michael had worked at Berdines Automotive for 19 years, before becoming in charge of maintenance for St. Mary Catholic School, where he retired after 25 years of service.
