Ella Rose Weckbacher, 76, of Beverly, died on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on April 17, 1949, in Bluefield, WV, daughter of Reefer Curry and Mary Emelene Justice Curry. She had been a Secretary and Receptionist most of her life. Rose was a member of the Beverly Baptist Church where she had been secretary treasurer for many years and she loved to crochet and to work in her flower beds. Rex Allen Cobb, 75, of Coal Run, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was born February 25, 1950, in Coal Run a son of John William Cobb and Lillian Twila Simon Cobb. He was employed in the kitchen at the Lafayette Hotel and attended Coal Run Church of Christ. Rex is survived by his brother, John W. Bessie I. Heslop, 91, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Harmar Place Extended Care. She was born on February 17, 1935, in Lawrence Twp, the daughter of Benjamin and Mabel Oliver. Bessie was a homemaker who enjoyed embroidery, sewing and gardening, volunteering with the Newport Food Pantry, working on Lower Newport Election Board, and was a member of Moss Run Community Church after being a member of No. 9 Community Church for 45 years.
