The Washington County Career Center has named its honorees for Career and Technical Education Month in February.

The honorees are:

≤Mike Brill, maintenance manager at Orion Engineered Carbon.

≤Brittany Corbitt, Belpre Landing Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center human resources.

≤Candy Gillespie, Workforce Development manager at WVU Medicine Camden Clark.

≤Angela Neiswanger, recruitment support associate for WVU Medicine Camden Clark.

≤Debbie West, president of the Career Center Board of Education.

The honorees were recognized at the February meeting of the Career Center Board of Education for their substantial contributions to the high school and adult technical education programs at the Career Center.

Career and Technical Education Month is nationally observed in February. The public awareness campaign is organized through the Association for Career and Technical Education and is sponsored by National Association of Home Builders.

The Career Center joined in the celebration by hosting an Annual Career Fair for sophomores. The Board of Education honored outstanding contributors to career and technical education as part of the celebration
