Franklin Street will be closed to traffic between Putnam and Lancaster Streets. There will be no parking on either side of the street from 413 Franklin St. to Lancaster Street. Marietta Main Street’s July First Friday to celebrate public art and Independence Day

MARIETTA — Downtown Marietta will mark the Fourth of July weekend with art, music, shopping and live demonstrations during July First Friday. The event, hosted by Marietta Main Street, will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday downtown.
