BELPRE — Work to improve Belpre’s water infrastructure is underway. In a special meeting Wednesday evening Belpre City Council approved all three readings on a pair of ordinances awarding bids for a new water tank and new water lines in the city of Belpre. The ordinances provided a conditional notice of award to Mid Atlantic Storage Systems Inc. and to Stonegate Construction Inc. for different aspects of the projects to install a new 2.5 million gallon water storage tank and new water lines.
