Italian Feast to be held at Pleasant Hill Church

WHIPPLE — The annual Italian Feast will be held from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Pleasant Hill Church, 7243 Stanleyville Road (Washington County 42), Whipple. Spaghetti, lasagna, alfredo, salad and dessert will be served. Cost is a donation. Everyone is welcome.

Update: Nohe responds to accusations of illegal fundraiser

Washington County sheriff candidate Greg Nohe said earlier this week he would not conduct a fundraising raffle after Sheriff Larry Mincks questioned its legality. His response was inadvertently omitted from the article that appeared in Tuesday’s edition. Mincks sent an email to all employees of the sheriff’s office on Feb. 16, saying he’d sent a letter to Nohe about the planned Feb. 24 fundraiser.
