• On April 2, the Marietta Streets Department picked up an abandoned bicycle in the 400 block of Second Street and brought it to the police station. The bike is pink with a blue rear wheel and a green front wheel.
• An officer responded to a disturbance April 2 at Walmart, 804 Pike St., involving two men arguing in the parking lot. One left before the officer arrived. The victim said he became involved in a verbal disagreement with a man known to him. He said as he turned away from the other man, he was physically attacked. Injured were observed on his face that were consistent with his claims.
• Police responded to a complaint April 3 of a 17-year-old not obeying her guardian, skipping school and now letting the guardian know where she is.
• On Thursday, a rape was reported. An officer investigated with the assistance of detectives.
• On Thursday, a 72-year-old woman reported a fraud. She said she had received a call from a Texas number and a male told her that a vehicle was bought using her Social Security number. She was told the vehicle had been involved in a traffic stop and linked to serious crimes. She was then told to send money in the form of gift cards to avoid going to court. After two payments were made another demand was made and a bank employee prevented additional withdrawals.
• An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Fourth Street Thursday in reference to a man lying on the bank of the river, passed out with air duster cans around him. As officers approached him, he attempted to inhale from a can beside him. He was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital for medical care. Charges are pending.
• Jason C. Fleeman, of Ninth Street, reported Thursday that he had video surveillance of a neighbor stealing his daughter’s mountain bike. A warrant for theft is being requested for the suspect.
• Officers responded to the 300 block of Franklin Street Thursday in reference to a suspicious female described as yelling to herself. Vickie Marie Thompson, of 300 Starlite Drive, Lot 26, was located in the street and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. She failed to obey commands and then pulled a pair of scissors from her pocket and brought them up in a stabbing motion. An officer grabbed her arm and the scissors and took her to the ground. Thompson was arrested for obstructing official business and intoxicated/drugged pedestrian.
• Officers were dispatched to 209 Fearing St. Friday for a report that Amy S. Books, of that address, was pointing a loaded handgun at her sister and threatening to kill her. Books was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.
• Officers responded to Walmart Saturday for a report of a man who appeared to be on drugs stumbling through the parking lot and walking into vehicles. He identified himself as Colton Davis. An active felony warrant was found for Davis and he was arrested. At the jail, it was discovered he had provided the information of an acquaintance. He admitted his true identity was Kyle Bruce Wilson, of Akron. He was charged with falsification.
• An officer was dispatched to the station in regard to two bicycles that had been found and brought in. One is a men’s mountain bike with white wall tires and black grips. The other is a women’s bike with fenders and a white seat.
• On Sunday, an officer responded to 101 Theis Ave. Lot 9, regarding a man sending messages to an acquaintance while attempting suicide. Officers located him inside his residence but he refused to speak or open his doors. Entry was forced and contact was made with Brian Robert Ritchie. He refused to cooperate with officers and became combative. As officers tried to place Ritchie into mental health custody, he kicked an officer in the knee and caused scrapes and bruises to the other officers. He was eventually subdued and transported to jail. He was charged with assaulting a police officer, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.
• Officers were dispatched Monday to 203 Lee Ave in reference to a criminal trespass. Kenneth Martin advised that upon returning to his residence he noticed a bicycle and his garage door open. As he entered he observed a few items were placed on the ground but that nothing was missing. This case remains under investigation.
• Harry Pugh of 913 Front St., reported Monday the theft of medication.
• On Monday, an officer was dispatched to the Historic Harmar Railroad Bridge in reference to man dropping a portable kerosene heater into the river. The officer found video of the suspect and identified him. Charges are pending.
Reports/Washington County
• Mitchell Zajac, of Marietta, reported a stolen handgun on March 25.. This case remains under investigation.
• A deputy provided assistance to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation and recovering stolen property on March 26.
• Deputies responded to Orchard Drive, Little Hocking, on March 28 for a trespassing complaint by the manager of Dollar General. A subject was riding a dirt bike in the parking lot and had been advised previously not to be riding the bike on the property. A summons is being requested for the juvenile through Washington County Juvenile Court.
•A deputy responded to 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, on March 28 for a domestic disturbance. A witness reported being at the home with Caitlin Ruble and Keon Hunter when Robert Ruble showed up. Caitlin and Robert began arguing outside and Caitlin yelled for Hunter to come outside. The arguing continued with Robert retrieving a knife and making the comment he would kill Caitlin. Everyone then went back inside and locked the door at which time Robert drove off. Caitlin then left the residence when she was advised that the sheriff’s office was called. Caitlin further stated that after Hunter came outside Robert stopped the vehicle and came at both of them with a knife. A warrant was requested for the arrest of Robert C. Ruble, 24, of 755 Tuttle St., Belpre, on a charge of domestic violence.
• While investigating a domestic violence incident on March 28 at 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, a deputy became aware of stolen property possibly at this residence where Caitlin Ruble and Keon Hunter reside. Samantha Sampson, of 311 King Ave., Cutler, reported numerous household items, to include jewelry and electronics, along with a puppy, stolen from her residence. A consent to search was obtained and deputies located a puppy running around the house along with a purse containing a bank card belonging to Sampson’s family member. Both Ruble and Keon Hunter had left the residence prior to law enforcement arriving this date. On April 3, Ruble and Hunter were observed back at the residence and denied involvement in the theft of items from Sampson, however eventually stated they entered the house and stole the items. Ruble and Hunter each stated that they threw items out along the road after leaving the residence. Keon Shermane Hunter, 24, of 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, and Caitlin Renee Ruble, 23, were arrested for tampering with evidence, receiving stolen property and burglary. Ruble was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for disorderly conduct.
• A deputy responded to The Country Corner Gas Station, 2346 State Route 550, Bartlett, on March 29 in reference to missing deposits. After completing the investigation it was determined that Katherine Bartimus, an employee, was the subject believed to have stolen the money. Bartimus was interviewed and admitted to stealing the deposits. Katherine Louis Bartimus, 38, of 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, was placed under arrest and charged with theft. Bartimus was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

• Christopher Allen Streight, 32, of 120 Ward St., Marietta, was arrested for breaking and entering, a felony, theft, and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.
• Todd Daniel Weddle, 50, of 114 Oakview Drive, Apt. 5, Marietta, was arrested for assault, a misdemeanor.
• Christopher Michael Hilton, 31, of 411 ½ Third St., Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony.
• Kyle Joseph Cobb, 29, of 1917 State Route 550, Bartlett, was arrested for fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.
• Stacy Ray Robinson Sr., 51, of 5355 State Route 26, Marietta, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol, two counts, misdemeanors.
• Katherine Louis Bartimus, 38, of 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, was arrested for theft, a felony.
• Nathan Allen Sprague, 30, of 411 E. Spring St., Marietta, was arrested for receiving stolen property, and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.
• Hannah Nicole Beha, 25, of 185 Westwood Way, Washington, W.Va., was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, a misdemeanor.
• Nicholas Dewayne Boley, 34, of 1004 Grandview Ave., Apt. A, New Matamoras, was arrested for breaking and entering, a felony, and driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
• Justin Allen Harris, 37, of 2837 Reynolds Run Road, Newport, was arrested for parole violation, a felony.
• Brett Sumner Edwards, 29, of 165 Cornerstone Drive, Marietta, was arrested for resisting arrest and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors.
• Dakota James Christopher Moore, 26, of 852 Greene St., Marietta, was arrested for theft without consent and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.
• Karissa Daveen Heddelson, 28, of 830 Rinard Mills Road, New Matamoras, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony, and possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.
• Christopher Ryan Ledger, 28, of 29385 E. Belpre Pike Road, Coolville, was arrested for possession of drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies, possessing drug abuse instruments, three counts, driving under FRA suspension and contempt, failure to appear, all misdemeanors.
• William Roland Talkington, 32, of 1205 County House Lane, Apt. B, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors.
• Lucas Trey Haynes, 23, of 736 Greene St., Apt. 11, Marietta, was arrested for gross sexual imposition, five counts, all felonies.
• Lacee Jay Butler, 35, of 28634 Osborne Road, Coolville, was arrested for contempt of court, a misdemeanor.
• Austin William Wright, 29, of 1045 Sandhill Road, Apt. 22, Marietta, was arrested for aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, both felonies, driving under FRA suspension, possessing drug abuse instruments, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and assault, all misdemeanors.
• Jason Joe Haught, 39, of 99 Cherry Hill Lane, Belpre, was arrested for driving under FRA suspension, a misdemeanor, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony.
• Andrea Michael Lohoefener, 32, of 415 Barber Ave., Marietta, was arrested for breaking and entering, a felony.
• Shannon Lee Scholderer, 43, of 38221 Zuspan Hollow Road, Middleport, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony.
• Brandon Lloyd Weimer, 30, of 516 Buckey Ave., Williamstown, was arrested for no operator’s license, a misdemeanor.
• Adrianna Lynn Smith, 28, homeless, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
• Janet Dawn Shaw, 45, of 300 Phillips St., Marietta, was arrested for contempt of court, a felony.
• Brian Keith Edgar, 32, of 27400 State Route 7, Lot 80, Park 3, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
• Lionel Justin Gore, 32, of 130 Cemetery Road, New Matamoras, was arrested for failure to comply, driving under suspension, fictitious plates and failure to yield the right of way, all misdemeanors.
• Mark Allen Carey, 55, was arrested on warrants for two counts of forgery, both felonies.
• Angie Katherine Foreman, 42, of 508 North St., Apt. 2, Caldwell, was arrested for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
• Anthony Wayne Kitchen, 51, of 15 Henderson Lane, Williamstown, was arrested for two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, both misdemeanors.
• Keon Shermane Hunter, 24, of 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, was arrested for tampering with evidence, receiving stolen property and burglary, all felonies.
• Caitlin Renee Ruble, 23, of 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, was arrested for tampering with evidence, receiving stolen property and burglary, felonies, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
• Earl Dean Griffin, 42, of 2460 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Erica Jean Wall, 39, of 706 Cisler Drive, Marietta, was arrested on a warrant for breach of recognizance and possession of drugs, both felonies.
• Joseph Hai Bui, 40, of 309 Cisler Lane, Marietta, was arrested for breaking and entering and safecracking, both felonies.
• Thomas William Joseph Gaughan, 32, of 1017 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arrested for breaking and entering and parole violation, both felonies, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.
• Gabrielle Elizabeth Rhoton, 23, of 65820 State Route 124, Reedsville, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
• Penny Sharon Lewis, 53, of 2519 Union Mill Road, Houston, Texas, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, open container, marked lanes, and refuse to submit to test commercial OL, all misdemeanors.
• Robert George McIntyre, Jr., 49, of 403 John St., Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, two counts, both misdemeanors.
• William Maxwell Allan, 21, of 995 Joe Skinner Road, Belpre, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, illegal use of drug paraphernalia, marked lanes, and possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.
