Margaret L. Cauthorn

Margaret Lanier Cauthorn, died on August 11, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 29, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Margaret Foster Groce and John Lanier Groce. They moved to Long Bottom, Ohio in Meigs County after World War II and she graduated from Chester High School in 1952. In 1959, she married Curtis P. Cauthorn, Jr. They moved to Reedsville, Ohio in 1975. Curtis P. Cauthorn, Jr. died in 1993. Margaret moved to Marietta, Ohio in 2015. She was Riverview Elementary School Librarian for a number of years before working as an assistant librarian at ...

Joseph Edward Eichmiller

Joseph Edward Eichmiller, 58, of Belpre, Ohio, died on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at his home. He was born on November 28, 1967 in Beverly, Ohio, son of James H. Eichmiller and Carolyn Sue Riggs Eichmiller. Joseph graduated from Waterford High School and had a few different jobs but he had been disabled most of his life. On July 29, 1988 he was married to Pamela Ann McIntire Eichmiller who died on January 11, 2022. Russ Nutter

Russ Nutter, 80, of Marietta passed into eternity on August 13, 2026, after a prolonged illness. In 1946, he was born at home in Belpre, Ohio to Russell and Grace Nutter. Christian, soldier, engineer, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend, he is survived by wife Ellen, son William Nutter (Jodi), daughter Melissa Nutter, step- daughter Erin Cummings, and grandson Wes Roden. Brothers Harley Nutter and Kenny Nutter (Marie) and sister Shirley Coggeshall (Jim) also survive. Additionally, his beloved rescue cat Gus still holds vigil for him.
