Medication Take Back Day

Medication Take Back Day will be held Saturday October 26th, 2024, 10 a.m-2 p.m., hosted by the Marietta Police Dept. This year’s event will be held in front of The Marietta Police Department, 301 Putnam St. This is an opportunity to dispose of unused, expired and/or unwanted medication. Medications can be dropped off anonymously, no questions asked. You do not have to remove labels from bottles and we will accept any and all medications. Ohio voters if you are considering voting against Issue 1 on the statewide ballot do you know what you are voting for? Such a vote is for maintaining an archaic system of drawing maps for our voting. Currently politicians who presently hold office pick who their voters are. The original intent of Ohio’s founders was that we the voters would choose who holds important offices in our government. Vote Yes on Issue 1 to give the power back to the people

Ohio Issue 1, the Citizens Redistricting Commission Initiative, is on the ballot in Ohio as a citizen initiated constitutional amendment. Over 731,000 Ohio citizens signed the petition to put Issue 1 on the November ballot to form a commission made up of citizens not politicians to draw voting districts that create fair maps and done in a transparent way.
