Cody and Abigail Offenberger

Abigail M. Roberts and Cody Offenberger were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. June 3, 2017 at The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Assumption in Marietta. Father Mike Campbell officiated the open church, double-ring ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and late mother, David Roberts and the late Teresa Roberts of Parkersburg. Her grandparents are George and Madylene Hamrick of Parkersburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Joyce Offenberger of Marietta and the grandson of Mary Rita Offenberger and the late Herman Offenberger, and Patricia Hughes and the late Everett Hughes.

Organist was John Ontko, and Dave and Cindy Puls played strings. Vocalist was Tim Binegar, cousin of the groom.

The bride wore a long cathedral veil, open back lace a-line dress, ivory. Her maid of honor was Amy Ferrell, friend of the bride. She wore a coral lace dress with a silver belt and carried a rose bouquet. Her bridesmaids were Christina Offenberger and Michelle Yingling, sisters of the groom, and Katie Brock and Melissa Mackey, friends of the bride. They wore coral lace dresses and carried rose bouquets.

Flower girl was Sylvia Roberts, niece of the bride.

Best man was Carson Weyer, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brady Kurucz, Payton Sturm, Andrew Earley and Ryan McCarty, all friends of the groom.

Ring bearer was Brendan Binegar, cousin of the groom.

Guests were registered by Kaleigh Bush, Brianna Bush and Megan Bush.

A reception was held at The Art Center in Parkersburg.

The bride graduated from Parkersburg Catholic High School and will graduate in May 2018 from Ohio Valley University, where she is an accounting major.

The bridegroom graduated from Parkersburg Catholic High School and is serving active duty with the United States Air Force, stationed stateside.

The couple took their wedding trip to Key West, Fla., and are residing in Cheyenne, Wyo.
