Upcoming events at the Southeast Ohio History Center in 2024 include speakers, exhibit openings, and silent film concerts accompanied by the History Center organ. The Lyceum Luncheon Brown Bag Speaker series is generally held at noon on the third Thursday of each month. To accommodate speakers there can be alterations to the specific date or day of the week when necessary. Wayne National Forest 2024 seasonal dates

NELSONVILLE — The Wayne National Forest will open campgrounds and recreation sites, including all motorized and non-motorized trails, to visitors beginning in April to launch the 2024 recreation season. PARKERSBURG —Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources John Merritt gave the Wood County Board of Education a personnel agenda Tuesday night with a list of employees that will be affected by the RIF (reduction in force) and transfer.
