Child pornography, drug charges among Grand Jury indictments

A Lower Salem man was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday on pandering sexually oriented materials charges following a search warrant last month that led to his arrest, according to the Washington County Common Pleas Court. Andrew Thomas Tucker, 34, 325 Wetzler Road, Lower Salem, allegedly created, recorded, photographed, filmed, developed, reproduced or published material that shows “a minor participating or engaging in sexual activity,” according to the indictment. Street sweeping to start Monday

Beginning Monday, city employees will perform a Marietta Clean Sweep with the intent of cleaning city streets ahead of spring. The initiative will continue until all streets are completed in the following order: Front Street even numbers, to Second Street odd numbers, to Third Street even numbers, to Fourth Street odd numbers, continuing that pattern up to Tenth Street.
