Reports/Marietta

¯ Edward R. Graham, of 121 Gilman Ave., reported a bicycle stolen on Jan. 23.

¯ Josey C. Barton, of 111 W. Montgomery St. reported threats being made on Jan. 23. A suspect will be summonsed to court on charges of menacing.

¯ A theft was reported Jan. 24 at Kmart, 502 Pike St. Eric C. Edgar was arrested for theft.

¯ Officers arrested Marcia M. Edwards at 1002 Hadley Lane on Jan. 25. Edwards had a warrant in Wood County, W.Va. for violation of a protection order. She was arrested on the warrant and an additional charge of being a fugitive from justice.

¯ The Star of India, 124 Greene St., reported Jan. 25 that a man threw a beer bottle through the restaurant’s window. After speaking to a witness, the male was identified. A summons for criminal damaging has been requested.

¯ Samantha M. Cobb, of 657 Sixth St., Parkersburg reported Jan. 25 that her credit card had been stolen in West Virginia and was then used at the Walmart in Marietta.

¯ Officers were advised Thursday of a disabled vehicle in the 700 block of Greene Street. Upon arrival a disabled vehicle was observed. A Value City furniture truck was attempting to deliver furniture and because the driveway of the customer was steep the driver was unable to get up the driveway. The rear of the truck dug into the roadway. Photos were obtained.

¯ An officer met with Jennifer L. Bartlett and Britany A. Perrera at 113 Clark St. Thursday after they got into a physical altercation. They were both charged with disorderly conduct by fighting.

¯ A suspicious male was reported at Kroger Friday. While en route, officers were advised he left and headed toward the Super 8 Motel. The man, later identified as Skylar Paul, was found passed out in the lobby and appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Kroger employees said that he had stolen several items from the store. The items were located on Paul, along with Xanax and a brown powder that field tested as meth. Paul was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

¯ Officers were dispatched to 1001 Greene St. Apt. B. Friday to assist the Marietta Fire Department with a possible overdose. Upon arrival, a 40-year-old female was located and found to be deceased. The body was sent to Montgomery County for an autopsy.

¯ Walmart employees reported two shoplifters Friday. Both were arrested.

¯ Julia D. Ogden, of 6400 Ellis Road, Stockport, reported a stolen package on Friday.

¯ Marietta Memorial Hospital employees reported Monday that a person in a motor vehicle loaded two empty laundry carts into a vehicle and fled the area.

¯ Donald L. Brill, of 250 County House Lane, reported Monday that his debit card was used to make an unauthorized purchase. He has since advised that he does not wish to pursue this matter.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 108 Riley Drive, Apt. 6 on Monday in reference to a man shooting himself. The 23-year-old man who shot himself in the head with a 20 gauge single shot shotgun was found to be deceased.

Reports/Washington County

¯Deputies responded to 150 Camelot Road, Lot 40, Belpre, on Friday in reference to a domestic dispute. William Zink was observed on the porch of the residence and said he had been locked out by his wife, Tammy. He continued to ignore the commands given to him and scream obscenities and was subsequently placed in handcuffs. Tammy Zink stated that William threatened her life several times on the way home from a bar in Parkersburg, so when they arrived home she ran inside and locked the door as she was in fear for her safety. Mrs. Zink requested a protection order be issued. While placing Zink in the patrol vehicle he continued yelling at his wife, stating that he would kill her when he got released from jail. William James Zink, 51, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

¯ Deputies responded to 18001 State Route 676, Marietta, Saturday in reference to an intoxicated individual making threats of harming himself. Deputies met with Graham Thomas Mace, 31, same address, and other individuals at the home. Mace had reportedly been looking for a gun while at the home, however was not able to gain possession of one. He said he had too many alcoholic beverages which resulted in him making those comments. Mace was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

¯ A female juvenile at  2053 Laurel Ridge Road, Lowell reported Saturday that Michael Allen assaulted Gena Stalford by pushing her around and striking her. The juvenile had gotten between Allen and Stalford with Allen shoving her into a cabinet. The juvenile in turn punched Allen in the face. Stalford returned to the residence and advised deputies that Allen did shove her and slap her. Deputies were able to locate Allen in a building on Highland Ridge Road, Aurelius Township. Allen was observed placing something on a table which was found to be a bag of marijuana and marijuana pipe. Allen admitted to the drugs and paraphernalia but denied striking anyone. Michael Edward Allen, 54, was placed under arrest for two counts of domestic violence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ On Saturday, deputies responded to Waterford Township in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

¯ Deputies were requested at 148 Oak Drive, Little Hocking on Saturday where Teri Ann Lent, 42, and her son, Chavazze Levi Kidder, 23, were in an altercation. Kidder was upset with Lent because she would not allow him to use her vehicle, at which time Kidder began hitting the walls and doors, causing damage. A summons is being requested for both Lent and Kidder for disorderly conduct.

¯ On Saturday deputies were dispatched to 295 Greene St., Newport, in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Nicky L. Lamp said his live-in girlfriend, Frankie D. Sergent, 39, cut him on the side of his neck and below his right eye with her fingernails during an argument. He said she also pushed him over a plastic table, causing him to lose his balance. A juvenile in the home also witnessed the incident. Sergent said the two bumped into each other, causing Lamp to fall over a table and injure his face. Sergent was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail. A temporary protection order was requested by Lamp.

¯ Peggy Williams, of 300 Starlite Drive, Lot 7, Marietta, reported Saturday that Majed Abdullah Maliki, 34, of 1231 20th St., Parkersburg, used her 2001 GMC van without her consent. On this same date deputies were requested at Smitty’s Pizza in reference to an unknown subject at the location being blocked in. Deputies met with the individual, identified as Maliki, in which he was very argumentative and uncooperative. Maliki admitted to having the vehicle of Williams in his possession. The vehicle was subsequently located and Maliki was placed under arrest for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and disorderly conduct.

¯ On  Saturday deputies were dispatched to an RV parked along Ohio 60 near Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, regarding a domestic dispute call. Chastity A. Carver reported her live-in boyfriend, Trent Offenberger, became upset and started “tearing up” the camper. Carver stated at one point he threw a small medicine bottle, hitting her in the head. Offenberger said he did start throwing items but did not mean to strike her with any of them. Offenberger also admitted the pill bottle he threw struck her in the head. Trent William Offenberger, 41, homeless, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

¯ Lisa Wilson, of 130 Mill St., Waterford, reported Saturday that Daniel K. Jackson, 59, grabbed her by her neck and pushed her during an argument. He was arrested for domestic violence.

¯ Deputies responded Sunday to a domestic violence report at 2410 Norris Ave., Belpre. Ryan E. Deem, said that James Turrill, 51, came into their room screaming, threw items at him and struck him twice with a closed fist. Injuries to Deem were observed by deputies. Another resident, Angela C. Chadock-Bills, said when she asked Turrill to be quiet he yelled at her and spit in her face. Chadock-Bills stated she was in fear that Turrill may harm her further so she called for help. Chadock-Bills also requested a temporary protection order be issued. Turrill admitted to striking Deem and said that he did spit on Chadock-Bills. He was placed under arrest for domestic violence and assault and transported to the Washington County Jail.

¯ Deputies were dispatched to Little Hocking on Sunday in reference to a domestic dispute. After obtaining information from both parties involved, this case was unfounded.

¯ On  Sunday, a deputy was dispatched to Marietta Township in reference to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located and taken back to the foster home where they were living. Contact with Washington County Children Services was made and possible changes will be taking place.

¯ John Coffman, of 145 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, reported Monday that his front license plate had been stolen.

¯ Deputies responded to Belpre Township, on Monday in reference to an individual calling in stating he had been scammed out of $2,900 through the Craigslist website involving the purchase of a vehicle.

¯ On Monday, a deputy responded to Dunham Township in reference to a possible overdose by a male subject. Little Hocking and Barlow volunteer emergency squads were both on scene. Narcan was administered to the male and he became alert. An investigation is ongoing

¯ Gary L. Losey, of 818 Lancaster St., Marietta, for failure to appear.

¯ Trent D. Mason, last known address 215 Franklin St., Marietta, for failure to appear.

¯ Nathan C. Strickler, of 1454 Rector Road, Parkersburg, for a parole violation. Original charge was criminal damaging.

¯ Matthew J. Queen, of 139 Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells, W.Va., for a parole violation. Original charge was assault.

¯ Joshua K. Anderson, of 1954 State Route 81, Beverly, for disorderly conduct.

¯ Tyler A. Baxter, of 2401 45th St., Parkersburg, for a parole violation. Original charge was OVI.

¯ Timothy L. Howell, of 41 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras, for theft.

¯ Gina M. Karcher, of 1201 County House Lane, Marietta, two warrants for breach of recognizance and failure to appear.

¯ Rebecca A. Karnosh, of 310 Pennsylvania Ave., Louisville, Ky., for drug paraphernalia.

¯ David A. Ruth, of 1630 Braun Road, Belpre, for disorderly conduct.

¯ David L. Slagle, of 4869 Rainbow Road, Lowell, for failure to appear. Original charge was driving under suspension.

¯ Mitchel L. Wright, of 775 Wrights Road, Walker, W.Va., for a parole violation. Original charge was theft.

¯ William James Zink, 51, of 150 Camelot Road, Lot 40, Belpre, was arrested Friday for domestic violence and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

¯ Natasha Katherine Dunn, 27, of 705 Second St., New Matamoras, was arrested Saturday for theft and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.

¯ Graham Thomas Mace, 31, of 18001 State Route 676, Marietta, was arrested Saturday for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

¯ Michael Edward Allen, 54, of 2053 Lowell Ridge Road, Lowell, was arrested Saturday for two counts of domestic violence, drug paraphernalia and drug possession, all misdemeanors.

¯ Frankie Dawn Sergent, 39, of 295 Greene St., Newport, was arrested Saturday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Mckenzie Ann Cowman, 23, of 814 Seneca Drive, Belpre, was arrested Saturday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Trent William Offenberger, 41, homeless, was arrested Saturday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Daniel Kelly Jackson, 59, P.O. Box 303, Waterford, was arrested Saturday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Majed Abdullah Maliki, 34, of 1231 20th St., Parkersburg, was arrested Saturday for disorderly conduct and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors.

¯ James Brian Turrill, 51, of 2410 Norris Ave., Belpre, was arrested Sunday for domestic violence and assault, both misdemeanors.

¯ Christopher Allen Peyton, 27, of 204 W. Spring St., Marietta, was arrested Sunday for OVI, OVI suspension and right of way, all misdemeanors.

¯ Jordan Lea Bartram, 21, of 1608 Hill St., Belpre, was arrested Sunday for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

¯ Nikki Rae Miller,  29, of 627 Front St., Marietta, was arrested Sunday for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.

¯ Michael Scott Salisbury, 26, of 230 Wood St., Sistersville, W.Va., on a warrant for drugs possession, a misdemeanor. Salisbury was picked up at North Central Regional Jail of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Crystal Dawn Clevenger, 53, of 205 Market St., Marietta, on a warrant for contempt of court order, a misdemeanor. Clevenger turned herself in at the Marietta City Police Department and was processed at the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Melissa Dawn Wise, 47, of 2936 Milltown Road, Reno, was arrested Monday for driving under suspension and failure to control, both misdemeanors.

¯ Kenneth Albert Ammell, 32, of 724 Cumberland St., Caldwell, for nonsupport of dependents, a misdemeanor. Ammell was picked up at Marion County Jail and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Zachary Kyle Blum, 27, of 468 Shultz Drive, Zanesville, on a warrant for drugs possession, a felony. Blum was picked up at Fairfield County Jail and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Russell Eugene Babb, 38, of 603 Main St., Shreve, for a probation violation, a felony. Babb was picked up at Wayne County Jail on Monday.
