MORGANTOWN — In the post-pandemic world, strained global supply chains have emerged as a new norm, but in the case of prescription opioids, namely oxycodone and hydrocodone in the early 2000s, the supply chain flowed freely without any kinks, a West Virginia University researcher found. Grand Jury indicts two in connection to murder

Two seasonal workers from Mexico were indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury this week after the murder of a 23-year-old man in May. Isaac Hernandez Diaz, 34, and his brother, Oscar Hernandez Diaz, 41, both of 300-A Dale St., Marietta, were indicted by the grand jury. Oscar was indicted on one count of murder, an unclassified felony. Isaac was indicted on one count of complicity in the commission of an offense, an unclassified felony. Explosion ripples at North Hills Pool

NORTH HILLS — An explosion at the pump house of the North Hills Pool on Wednesday drew first responders and injured one person.
