The passenger confessed that he may be in possession of methamphetamine. The female operator also gave verbal consent to search the entire vehicle and its contents. Reports/Ohio State Highway Patrol ¯ A two-car crash occurred Feb. 21 on Ohio 339 in Belpre Township. Owen T. Young, 21, of 7350 Marion St., Chesterhill, and Roger L. Snider, 57, of 971 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, were southbound on Ohio 339. Snider slowed his 1991 Chevrolet S-10 to turn onto Township Road 289 and was struck in the rear by Young’s 2004 Honda CR-V. Belpre man faces May trial

PARKERSBURG —A Belpre arrested in October after allegedly walking through the Vienna Walmart with a pistol in his hand has been scheduled to go to trial in May. Keith Allen Crace, 51, 150 Camelot Road, pleaded not guilty last Friday before Circuit Judge Jason Wharton to charges of wanton endangerment with a firearm and brandishing. Marietta Main Street lawsuit dropped

A lawsuit filed last year against Marietta Main Street regarding cups used in the designated outdoor refreshment area was dismissed this week. The lawsuit also names former MMS executive director Cristie Thomas and the City of Marietta as defendants. The plaintiff, Emanuel’s LLC, owns and operates TLV Restaurant in downtown Marietta with Ari Gold listed as CEO.
