State Route 78, McConnelsville, and a 2013 Honda Civic owned by Tracy L. Simmons of 31 Madison St., Glouster, were parked unattended in parking spots adjacent to Ohio 60. Raymond A. Ohio man taken into custody following task force operation

POMEROY — An Ohio man was taken into custody Thursday following an operation by agents of the Major Crimes Task Force which yielded one of the largest hauls of crystal methamphetamine in Meigs County history. Caleb Wilson, of Huber Heights, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and trafficking in methamphetamine, both first-degree felonies. He was being held in the Middleport Jail awaiting his arraignment in Meigs County Court. Reports/Ohio State Highway Patrol ¯ A two-vehicle crash occurred Feb. 16 on County Road 30 in Dunham Township. Tracey L. Goodfellow, 37, of 5895 Federal Road, Coolville, and Benjamin N. Elder Jr., 65, of 602 McGill Road, Vincent, were eastbound on County Road 30. Goodfellow’s 2019 Chevrolet Traverse made a wide turn to go southbound into a private drive.
