Standing with Ukraine

Stand with Ukraine! The brave courageous citizens of Ukraine are fighting for their country, their freedom and democracy. Ukranians, a free people, are not giving up their land or their liberty to Putin, a Goliath bully. As President Zelenskyy said, “We will not give up. I am always interested in the “Vintage View” pictures and columns that Art Smith frequently has in The Marietta Times. I particularly enjoy the scenes of years past in and around Marietta. Since 2015, Mr. Jay Huck, Hucks Farm & Greenhouse in Devola, and his staff, including Peggy Douglas, have supported Marietta in Bloom. We have relied on this local firm toplant seeds and plugs for the hundreds of flowers (zinnias, coleus, Russian Sage, lantana, etc) needed for the eight gardens we maintain throughout Marietta. In ecological terms habitat is often defined as an assemblage of animals and plants that live in a particular environment.
