Keep Erin O’Neill for the 4th Ward — She shows up!

I am a resident of Marietta’s 4th Ward and attended the October 22 candidates forum. It was very enlightening and provided me with even more reasons to put my support behind Erin O’Neill for city council. “Bridging Communities, Building Tomorrow” is not just a campaign slogan; it’s a commitment! Ms. O’Neill is well versed in all the current and future issues of our city. Her lengthy resume speaks to her long-standing community involvement and commitment to future growth. During the time allotted for audience questions, I asked Ms. O’Neill the following: “As a family who ...

Elect Ron Wesel 4th Ward City Council

Marietta is worth serving, and I can’t think of a better candidate for City Council to serve her than Ron Wesel. Ron is a proud son of Marietta and ready to take on this charge. He spent the first part of his working career at the family business, Marietta Ignition, before joining Mondo Polymer. His business background lends itself well to understanding human resources issues, budgeting, project planning, and accountability. Ron is a leader who will listen courteously, engage in thoughtful discussion, and take decisive action where needed. Please join me in voting for Ron Wesel for ...

Eve, Inc. says thanks!

Another year, tremendous community support and a great evening. The 43rd Annual Eve Benefit Auction on August 22nd grossed over $32,000 all because of the wonderful support we received from the community, local businesses and the many individuals who attended, bid for items and had fun at the event. Local auctioneers, Charlie and Keelan McLeish, volunteered their time and once again had the crowd energized. Washington County Sheriff’s office provided a security presence, the Zonta Club of Marietta and the Environs helped to organize the Silent Auction items so that we were able to ...

Thanks for Support

I would like to thank the organizers and participants of the recent Chuck A Duck fundraiser that was held last week at MHS by the Marietta Volleyball team in my honor. I recently had a cancer diagnosis increased to Stage 4. The volleyball coaches felt that the sports community of the city schools would like to express their support. My husband, Mark and I have photographed the sport teams in the community for over 40 years. We have met so many wonderful people. The coaches felt that many of these people would like to show their support and concern and “wow” were they right. The ...

O’Neill for Council

Our community deserves leaders who will protect our land, water, and health. Erin O’Neill has been a strong and steady voice against more injection wells in Washington County. She understands the risks these wells pose to our aquifer, our farmers, and our families. Erin has worked to make sure our residents’ concerns are heard at every level, and she continues to fight for clean water and safe neighborhoods. She also brings the same determination to the city’s finances and development, helping to ensure Marietta’s future is strong. Erin O’Neill is the kind of ...
