Reports/Washington County ¯ A deputy began an investigation April 20 in Muskingum Township where a report was made in reference to damage to Putnam School. ¯ A sergeant responded April 20 to a residence on Wynncrest Drive, Warren Township, in regards to a reported domestic violence incident. OSHP investigating fatal crash

From staff reports The Marietta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Ohio 60 near milepost four, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at approximately 5:15 a.m. Friday. Preliminary findings revealed that a 2002 Acura MDX driven by Sean R. Wise, 36, of McConnelsville, was southbound on Ohio 60 when it struck Emilee Kincaid, 31, of McConnelsville. Two indicted on charges associated with the death of Warrener

Two Marietta men were indicted in the death of 24-year-old Sarah Warrener in January. Michael William Martin, 27, of 707 Sixth St., Marietta, was indicted on five charges, including one count of reckless homicide, a third-degree felony; one count of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony; one count of corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony; and two counts of possessing drug abuse instruments, both second-degree misdemeanors. Becker found guilty on federal charges

CHARLESTON — A Marietta man was convicted Tuesday after a two-day trial by a federal jury in West Virginia of all four counts charging him in connection with pipe bombs found on tugboats on the Ohio River, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia. Law enforcement officers recovered the devices from two tugboats moving barges on the Ohio River on Oct. 21 and Oct. 25.
