Again, we see Vladimir Putin trying his hand at causing more grief in our world. Another American journalist, Evan Goshkoich was arrested on charges of espionage in Russia. It seems that there are other factors in play. The White House Secretary said “U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Russia should depart immediately as State continues to advise.” What a difference less than twenty years make. He lived a life that certainly was full. For someone who was born before the turn of 20th. Century, it is unusual to survive to 90 years of age. He saw two World Wars. He served in the World War I and became a refugee during the World War II. In Latvia where he was born, he was a prosperous businessman whose wife was a schoolteacher.
