Showing Support No doubt about it, Marietta City Schools is suffering a string of losing academic seasons— Ds and Fs on Ohio’s public report card. Medicine Take Back Day

Medication Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is an opportunity to dispose of unused, expired and/or unwanted medication. There are several disposal sites and meds can be dropped off anonymously, no questions asked. You do not have to remove labels from bottles and we will accept any and all medications, including syringes, patches and liquids. Why turn in your unused medications? City funds handicap accessible entrance to Boys & Girls Club gymnasium

The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County extends a heartfelt thank you and recognizes the City of Marietta and Mayor Schlicher for their commitment to the community. When the Club first made its home on Lancaster street back in 2012, the dream was to have a safe place for youth to go after school. In the back of our minds has always been to build a gymnasium. Nearly 10 years later, we are finally able to fulfill that dream thanks to the people in our community that have believed in us, and supported us along the way.
