Critical Race Theory (CRT) is a lie. A toxic brew of soul-crushing Marxist racism. CRT slanders the many heroes of American History, black and white. It ignores the 8 states that within the Revolutionary generation moved to immediately or gradually abolish slavery. It ignores the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 forbidding slavery in what is now the North Central US. It ignores the 300,000+ Union white men who fought and died to restore a Union purged, cleansed, and redeemed of slavery. One of the greatest explanations for political upheaval I’ve heard was given by one of my former college professors. He said that revolution is present when a society “gives up centripetal for centrifugal force.” He explained that all healthy societies have a centripetal force to them, which draws or pushes the disparate parts of that society toward a unified center. Marietta Area Recycling Center opening to 24 hours/7 days a week

Beginning Monday, June 14, The Marietta Area Recycling Center (MARC) will be expanding back to its regular schedule of 24 hours per day 7 days a week! It is great to be moving back to normal hours and the Volunteers at MARC appreciate all of the community’s cooperation and support during our restricted schedule and transitioning to full open.
