Reports/Washington County ¯ Deputies were dispatched Dec. 22 to Ohio 550, Warren Township, to a report of a domestic dispute. Edward Houk Jr. was reported to have been disruptive in the home. Deputies were advised that Houk had made threats to the residents. Deputies met with Houk, who was in the woods near the residence, and allowed deputies to speak with him. Once Houk was told he was being placed under arrest, he refused to be placed in handcuffs and tried to pull away. Reports/Washington County ¯ A deputy began an investigation Dec. 12 into a domestic violence incident. After conducting the investigation it was determined that no crime had been committed. ¯ A deputy was dispatched Dec. 13 to Ohio 550, Warren Township, to a report of a burglary. The caller, Jason Shuck, advised he was watching a male break into his residence. A short time later, the perimeter of the residence was checked, finding no evidence of anyone being in the area.
