Newport awarded $133,000 for new sewer design
NEWPORT – The Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA) announced the approval of low interest loans for two projects in Newport (Washington County) and McArthur (Vinton County) on Tuesday to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure and make water quality improvements for Ohioans. The Ohio Water Development Authority was created by the Ohio General Assembly in 1968 as a public agency to provide funding to public water and wastewater construction projects throughout Ohio.
